As a Mum of 4, you can just imagine the amount of googling, scrolling and researching I've put in over the years to find the perfect gifts for each of my kids. You know the ones I'm talking about right? The ones that they actually want to play with, which keep them engaged, are amazing quality to withstand play, can be used multiple different ways AND are good value for money? Well, I was always so excited when I would find that perfect toy but then came the hard part - finding somewhere that sells it! It was either only available from the US, or it was only available online and not locally, que the disappointment.

I'm kind of an old school shopper, in that I like to physically shop myself, pick up the product and check it out in person before I purchase it. I thought surely, I'm not the only one in our area who thinks the same?

It then occurred to me that maybe I could be the person to solve the problem - I do have 10 years of retail experience, an extreme obsession with discovering new and exciting toys and an entrepreneurial bug in my veins since I was a little kid. This could be the perfect fit!

Scared out of my brain, but excited at the possibilities, I jumped right in and Sunny Kids Toy Store was born!
